Special Assistant for Economic Development, Office of the Queens Borough President
The Special Assistant for Economic Development will report directly to the Deputy Borough President to execute the Borough President’s economic development agenda and provide support services to the Deputy Borough President. The Borough President’s agenda focuses on economic mobility and opportunity, neighborhood revitalization, and stakeholder participation and inclusion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to research, developing organizational and economic development initiatives, and drafting correspondence and executive testimony. Ideal candidate would be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Specific qualifications include:
•Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution;
•Excellent writing, analytical, quantitative and verbal skills;
•Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
•Strong attention to detail;
•Ability to work as part of a team.
